  1. Information we collect from you

    We will collect and process the following categories of data about you:

  • Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms, interacting with our website or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use the site and when you report a problem with the Site.
    Any information you give us that includes; an email address, password, first name, last name and your organisation’s address, which is essential to run your account.Payment information (bank details, credit card details etc.) to be processed by a 3rd party service; either by a bank, BACS or Sage, whichever you choose. The payment information we hold is; Name, address, transaction ID numbers and payment amount. We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.
  • Your transaction security. We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide. RMS maintains the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.
  • Information we collect about you. This is information that we collect automatically about your visit during your time on the Site or by other means. It typically involves technical information and is often collected using small data files called “cookies”. This information helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse the Site and also to indicate where the Site requires improvement.
  • Information we receive from other sources. This is information that we receive about you if you use any of the other websites we operate. In this case we will have informed you when we collected that data if we intend to share those data internally. We will also have told you for what purpose we will share your data.This also includes information that we receive from third parties, such as business partners, sub-contractors in technical services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers and so on.     • Any member of our group, which means our holding company and subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006;

Such information would not include anything that would make an individual identifiable to the advertisers, but we will provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, that 500 users live within a particular area) to help them reach the kind of audience they want to target. We may make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers’ wishes by displaying their advertisement to their selected target audience; and
    • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of the Site;

    All information that you provide to us is stored on our, or our selected business partners’, secure servers within the EEA, for a period of 2 years, and we will take reasonable steps to protect your information in accordance with this policy, including (without limitation):

    • Carrying out regular back-ups.

    Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
